We here at Kutandara, like all of you, have had our lives turned upside down by this global pandemic. For over 20 years, we have been bringing people together (literally!) through marimba and mbira music from Zimbabwe. Now, we are learning how to gather and connect remotely, and in-person with COVID-19 precautions in place. We hold out hope for the day when we can once again gather in larger groups and make music. Until then, we are offering our existing classes with remote participation options, complimentary instrument usage to local students, free youtube learning videos, and free concerts from around the world with our online live sessions. Find Executive Director Amy Stewart McIntosh’s blog posts on the current situation on our COVID-19 Update Page .
